Swedish rock/pop band GHOST will return to the Riverside Theatre on October 31 to complete its concert that was cut short earlier this year. The May 31 show was canceled at the close of Act I due to the tragic collapse and subsequent death of Ghost fan Jeff Fortune. Dedicating the October 31 performance to Mr. Fortune and his family and friends, Ghost will perform the hour-long Act II for ticket holders who attended the original date.

All ticket holders will be contacted by the Pabst Theatre Group with an invitation to RSVP for the show and must do so by September 30 to guarantee their ticket. No new tickets for this performance will be sold.

Exclusively for this performance, Ghost has created a special T-shirt that features the likenesses of Cardinal Copia and Jeffrey Fortune clad in Michael Meyers costumes. The T-shirt will be available at the venue’s merch tables, with all proceeds going to Mr. Fortune’s family.

Heavy metal/rock band from Sweden formed in 2008. Due to legal issues, the band was briefly forced to release music under the Ghost B.C. name in the United States. They absolutely refused to use the name on any merchandise or in any other manner.

Ghost is known for keeping its members anonymous. Every album lists the musicians as "Nameless Ghouls" and the singer as "Papa Emeritus / Papa Emeritus II / Papa Emeritus III". The lead singer is thought to be the same, however they announce a new lead singer every album. Ghost is also known for its influence from classic rock and the satanic church theme in their music.

Tobias Forge reveals himself as "The Man Behind The Mask of GHOST" in first public interview on August 17, 2017 on Swedish Radio Channel P1.

Ghost formed out of the ashes of Magna Carta Cartel (included future Ghost members Tobias Forge, Martin Persner, and Simon Söderberg). Legal issues have arisen between Tobias Forge, claiming Ghost was his band with a rotating cast of Nameless Ghouls, and some of the present and past Nameless Ghouls who claim Forge has been keeping profits for himself by controlling the finances of the band through various intermediary companies (Swedish Drama Pop AB, Papastrello Limited, Santasma Touring Inc.) from 2011-2016.

Simon Söderberg was Nameless Ghoul lead guitarist, sometimes referred to as Alpha. Simon and other Nameless Ghouls Mauro Rubino, Henrik Palm, and Martin Hjertstedt official filed a lawsuit against Forge. Tobias Forge fired all of the members of the band at the end of 2016 and hired all new musicians.

Martin Persner was Nameless Ghoul rhythm guitarist, sometimes referred to as Omega. He left Ghost in July 2016 and reformed Magna Carta Cartel.
